Confucius said: “A man without truthfulness is acceptable.A man without faith does not know what he can do. How can a cart go without wheels and a cart without wheels.”

子曰：“人而无信，不知其可也。大车无輗，小车无軏，其何以行之哉？”
翻译
孔子说：“一个人如果不讲信用，不知他怎么可以相信。就像大车的横木两头没有活键，车的横木两头少了关扣一样，怎么可以行驶呢？”
